Bourbon vs. Tennessee Whiskey: What’s the Difference?

“Jack Daniel’s isn’t bourbon, it’s Tennessee Whiskey!”  Many of us have been taught that, but is it true, or a technicality?  Bourbon vs. Tennessee Whiskey: What’s the difference?

In this panel Camper English, creator of Alcademics.com, Lew Bryson, Senior Drinks Writer for the Daily Beast, and Brian Haara, author of Bourbon Justice: How Whiskey Law Shaped America, will explore:

  • Does charcoal filtering disqualify Tennessee whiskey from being bourbon?
  • The legal differences between the two categories
  • Their historical development
  • Current flavor profiles

We’ll also have a live Q&A so you can engage directly with our expert panel during the event

Don’t forget to join us for other Panel Discussions, every Wednesday at 8:45pm EST/5:45pm PST
